Terms and Conditions

Furniture Assembly or Installation: Installers will charge a minimum rate of $65/hour. If the quote is lower than this amount, the minimum rate still applies.

Phone and App Estimates: Estimates are based on the Inventory List you provide. The estimate assumes your home is packed and ready. Significant changes in inventory may increase the time and total cost of your move.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: A 72-hour notice is required to receive a full refund of your deposit.

Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash.

Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for services outside the original estimate (e.g. multiple pickups/deliveries, door removal, last-minute packing).

Bulky Items: Items such as pool tables, pianos, safes, hot tubs, motorcycles, etc., are subject to an additional “bulky item” fee.

Arrival Times: BMPRO provides an estimated arrival window. While we strive to arrive on time, delays may occur. Please ensure we have an active phone number to contact you.

Inclement Weather: Additional costs may apply in case of weather-related delays. We are not liable for weather damage. Jobs may be rescheduled after a storm.

Firearms: We do not handle firearms. Please remove them before your move.

Travel Time: If the job site is more than 35 miles from our office, travel time to and from the site will be charged.

TVs: Plasma/flat panel TVs must be packed/crated properly. Original packaging is ideal. Additional charges apply if we provide packing.

If We Pack: We recommend our professional packing services. Contact us to arrange a packing crew.

If You Pack: Use boxes (not bags), tape all tops/bottoms, mark destinations and fragile labels clearly. We sell packing materials if needed.

Drawer Contents: Remove contents from all pressboard furniture and desk drawers. File cabinets must be secured or emptied depending on type.

Elevators: Reserve and pad elevators in advance. Check building time restrictions.

Damages: If damage occurs, notify us immediately. All damages must be noted on the contract. Claims must be made within 60 days and after payment is completed.

Storage Unloads: If unloading at a storage unit, any due charges will be collected before the unloading begins.

Pressed Wood/Pressboard Furniture: BMPRO will not disassemble or reassemble furniture made of pressboard. Liability coverage for such items is limited to none.

Appliances: We do not disconnect/reconnect appliances. Contact an appliance technician if special preparation is needed.

Released Valuation Coverage: BMPRO provides federally mandated coverage of $0.60/lb for damaged items, with many exclusions (see below).

Not Covered: Items packed by customers, fragile or high-value items not packed properly, pressed wood, electronics without crates, jewelry, cash, firearms, clay pots, or planters.

Covered: Items damaged by our movers, not falling under exclusions, will be covered under Released Valuation Coverage.

Release of Liability: If moving items may risk damage, a release form must be signed. We won't proceed without it.

Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe, abusive, or unsanitary conditions.

Tips: Gratuities for movers and packers are highly appreciated.
